The Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, is located north of Chillicothe in the Southern Ohio River Valley. Visitors to this 1,200-acre park enjoy learning about the various Hopewell geometric earthen structures, built between 200 BC and AD 500. The park encompasses the Mound City Group, Hopewell Mound Group, Hopeton Earthworks, Seip Earthworks and High Bank Works.
